By all accounts, the 2020 tournaments were an excellent year…new players, good weather, and interesting ice! Also, our Canadian curlers seemed to fit in wonderfully!

So hold onto those great memories until 2022, when we can create some new ones!

Welcome to the Scottish Week homepage!

Scottish Week is a set of three, three-game outdoor curling tournaments held in Zermatt, Switzerland, every January immediately following the Horu Trophy tournament.

The weather was absolutely wonderful in 2019 for the week of curling.

It was a bit cool on two of the mornings (-12 and -14 Celsius) resulting in high-friction slow and challenging ice. But the cool temperatures meant that the weather conditions for the afternoon games was just about perfect, -6 to -4 Celsius.

We had one afternoon where a light snow disrupted play, but mostly the games were played with sunny skies and wonderful views of the mountains surrounding Zermatt.

If you enjoy curling, beautiful scenery, friendly competition, and meeting new friends, the Scottish Week in Zermatt is a great place to be.
