Der Biner Pralinée Cup war lange Zeit unser Highlight. Es war der beliebteste Preis, den man in der Scottish Week Zermatt gewinnen konnte. War es doch das Turnier, bei dem alle Curlerinnen und Curler bis zur zuletzt platzierten Mannschaft einen Preis mitnehmen durften. Dafür danke ich Dir sehr herzlich. Es hat mich sehr gefreut und berührt, dass ich Dich während dieses Turniers kennen lernen und ein paar wenige Worte mit Dir wechseln durfte. Viel Gutes wurde mir von den älteren Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmern über Dich berichtet.
Du warst nicht nur ein hervorragender Bäcker und Konditor. Du warst auch ein sehr polysportives Talent. Ob Eishockey, Ski, Tennis, Golf und nicht zuletzt auch Curling, überall warst Du bei den Besten dabei. Ja, Du hast es in all diesen Sportarten zu Meistertiteln gebracht. Der Europameistertitel, den Du im Jahre 1983 im Curling erreichtest, ist wohl der bedeutendste, den Du erreichen durftest. Ich ziehe meinen Hut – Chapeau!
Lieber Amédée, es macht mich stolz, dass ich eines der ältesten openair Curlingturniere organisieren darf und ich werde alles dafür tun, dass wir in kaum mehr 10 Jahren den 100. Geburtstag des Turniers feiern dürfen.

The Biner Pralinée Cup was our most popular Cup for a long time. It was the only tournament in which all curlers, right down to the last place team, could take a prize back to home. I thank you very much for that.
I was very pleased and touched when I was allowed to meet you at the 2023 tournament and was able to exchange some words with you. The older participants told me so many good stories about you.
You were not only an excellent baker and confectioner, you were also a very poly-sportive talent. Whether playing ice hockey, skiing, tennis, golf and last but not least curling, you were always among the best. You have been champion in all these sports. The European championship title you achieved in 1983 in curling is probably the most important one you were allowed to achieve. I take my hat off - chapeau!
Dear Amédée, I'm very proud to continue the tradition and to organize one of the oldest open-air curling tournaments. I will do my utmost to ensure that we can celebrate the 100th birthday of the tournament in less than 10 years!

La Biner Pralinée Cup a longtemps été notre point culminant. C'était le prix le plus populaire que l'on pouvait gagner lors de la semaine écossaise de Zermatt. C'était en effet le tournoi où tous les joueurs, jusqu'à la dernière équipe classée, pouvaient emporter un prix. Je t'en remercie très sincèrement. J'ai été très heureuse et touchée de pouvoir faire ta connaissance pendant ce tournoi et d'échanger quelques mots avec toi. Les participants plus âgés m'ont dit beaucoup de bonnes histoires de toi.
Tu n'étais pas seulement un excellent boulanger et pâtissier. Non, tu étais aussi très polysportif. Que ce soit en hockey sur glace, en ski, en tennis, en golf, sans oublier le curling, tu étais partout parmi les meilleurs. Tu as remporté mêmes des titres de champion dans tous ces sports. Le titre de champion d'Europe que tu as obtenu en 1983 en curling est sans doute le plus important que tu aies eu la chance de décrocher. Je te tire mon chapeau!
